Powerful features

Everything you need for efficient DPP compliance under the ESPR.

Create Digital Product Passports in a few steps and adjust content at any time – with no technical setup. Automate data capture, validation and publishing under the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR) in a clear, auditable workflow.

Automatic product import

Shopify import included: products are imported automatically and DPPs are created right away. Missing information is requested in a structured way. That's how you reach 100% compliance with just a few clicks.

How it works

AI-powered autofill

Easy to integrate into your existing systems and flexibly adaptable to your data models. Less manual entry: the AI completes missing fields and fills out product passports automatically.

How it works
How it works

From Shopify product to published product passport – in just a few clicks.

The demo shows the complete workflow: SolveDPP imports your products automatically from Shopify, the AI completes missing ESPR data fields such as material composition, origin and CO₂ footprint, the built-in compliance check confirms completeness – and with a single click the product passport is published, including a QR code for your product page.

DPP clearly explained

What is the DPP Digital Product Passport under the EU product passport directive – and why does it matter?

The Digital Product Passport (DPP) is a standardised data record under the EU product passport directive and the ESPR guidelines that creates transparency about a product's origin, materials, sustainability and compliance. The DPP Digital Product Passport is becoming mandatory in the EU step by step and influences how companies produce, supply and sell.

The ESPR guidelines define the requirements for the Digital Product Passport, which must be implemented in line with the EU product passport directive. You'll find a detailed rollout explanation in our guide: The DPP rollout in detail

Knowledge in brief

What is the Digital Product Passport (DPP)?

The Digital Product Passport is a machine-readable data record that makes a product's key information – materials, origin, repairability, recycling and proof of compliance – accessible directly on the product via a QR code.

The legal basis is the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR, EU 2024/1781); for batteries the EU Battery Regulation applies, and for toys the new EU Toy Regulation. The obligation takes effect step by step from 2026/2027 – each product group on its own deadline.

Questions & answers

Do I need a credit card for the trial?
No. You can test SolveDPP without any payment details. Costs only apply once you actively upgrade.
Can multiple teams work on DPPs at the same time?
Yes. Roles and permissions are included in every plan, so purchasing, sustainability and quality can work together.
Which data sources can I connect?
Your product and variant data comes directly from your store via Shopify import. Additional details – for example from ERP, PLM or supplier documents – are added via CSV/Excel or manually; AI auto-complete pre-fills recurring fields.
Is the software compliant with the ESPR and the EU Battery Regulation?
Yes. SolveDPP maps the mandatory data of each regulation – ESPR, EU Battery Regulation or EU Toy Safety Regulation – as validation rules. Gaps are shown before publishing, and all changes remain versioned and auditable.
Which industries is SolveDPP suitable for?
SolveDPP supports all product groups with an upcoming DPP obligation – including textiles, batteries & e-bikes, furniture, mattresses, tires, toys and electronics. The data model is pre-configured per regulation with the matching mandatory fields.
How does the Shopify integration work?
Install the app, import products and variants, fill in the missing details – done. Every item gets a public DPP page with a QR code, and the DPP widget appears right on your Shopify product page.
Do I need a Shopify store to use SolveDPP?
Yes. SolveDPP is built as a Shopify app and uses your store as its data foundation – this avoids duplicate data maintenance and lets the DPP widget integrate seamlessly into your product pages.
How quickly can we get started?
In just a few weeks. We provide templates, standard data models and guided onboarding so you can go live quickly.
